About the Initiative

The Green Port Harcourt Initiative (GPHI) is the flagship programme of the 309 Green Earth Foundation dedicated to restoring Port Harcourt’s identity as Nigeria’s Garden City. Through urban reforestation, community partnerships and environmental stewardship, GPHI seeks to build a greener, healthier and more resilient city.

Our Vision

This initiative aims to reforest Port Harcourt by planting trees to transform the city’s landscape.
restore its tree canopy, and foster a healthier, vibrant, and 21st-century climate-resilient Port Harcourt.
